Marching On
Have you ever looked at something you created and thought to yourself... What was I thinking? How could I have done that? Why... just why?
I think that all the time when I am re-reading something I wrote. This month I made myself face that fear. My goal was to re-read a rough draft that I know in my heart is a fantastic story; Maegin. But it wasn't walk in the park and I know that there is much to do in the editing phase.
I just thought I would let you know in my March newsletter that if you have something that you are aspiring toward then sometimes you have to push through, it will be worth it in the end. You need to pass many hurdles as a creative, people not understanding what you are going through being one of them, but your work is unique and if you are passionate about it then there will be someone out there that wants to see it.
Other than re-reading and editing my story I have been making sure my podcast goes out every week (27 came out last Wednesday), completing a worldbuilding course that I received from Sue-Ellen Pashley and updating my webpage and socials media platforms.
My daughter Ari took this amazing photo when she had a Daddy Daughter day. It was taken at 'Frog Rock' near our home town and I love it. I thought you might enjoy the picture too. She called it 'Sic Sunset.'
Until next month,
I hope that you are enjoying your journey.
