BUFFY NIGHT

Realm of Beasts by Angels J Ford

Angela gets straight into the action with this story, the world that had been created for this story is incredibly detailed and intense. Each character has been well thought out and developed so that they naturally intersected. It didn’t feel forced, they were just doing their thing. One of the main characters Citrine has the ability to talk to beasts and has jolly chats with vines as they grow in their own time. You can’t help but think, how cool would that be?

Tor Lir, another main character is sort of lost and not sure where he should go or if he is meant to be doing anything in particular but he remembers enough to get by. Citrine was told that she was to be his guide. There was not a strong bond between the two and their relationship is so flawed that it stirred my emotions while listening. It is frustratingly realistic and I loved that! There were parts of the story that I was a little confused with but I will give it another listen and I think the next book will be just as good.

It was only a short audio book but the quality of the productions was exceptional. I give the book 4 stakes.
